1889 A28 Duke Tobacco Album- “The Heroes of the Civil War”- One of the 19th Century’s most significant tobacco albums. This album illustrates all 50 cards from the very popular N114 Duke Set featuring Civil War Generals- incl. Grant, Lee, Garfield, McClellan, Sherman, Meade, Farragut etc. I grade this very good with a small bit of paper loss on cover(a small surface portion of the “H” in Heroes is missing) Similar paper loss on back cover. The inside is very colorful and ornate – and exhibits a few creases here and there- but overall is very presentable. Great rare album!
